Program Overview and Organization

 

Organization of the First Year (M1)

The Master’s in Education is open to those with a particular interest in education in the broad sense of the term (education in schools, informal education, adult education, etc.).

During the first year, students are invited to select a specialization that corresponds to their own professional and scientific aspirations and specific skillsets, which they will explore in greater detail during the second year.

  • Management and Consultancy in Continuing Education (CCFC): Director – Emmanuel de Lescure.
  • International Cooperation in Education and Training (CIEF): Director – Marie Salaün.

 

Objectives of the First Year 

 

At the end of the first year, students will have learned about education applied to sociology, history, clinical and social psychology, anthropology, philosophy, teaching and information technology. Our programs reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the field of education.
They will also be able to :

  • Analyze current major issues and topics in education, both nationally and internationally,
  • Understand and analyze complex learning and teaching situations,
  • Identify educational problems in the areas of humanities and social sciences,
  • Understand and contextualize the results of interdisciplinary research in education,
  • Assemble documentation on educational practices, actions and situations and discuss them in a clear, concise and well-developed manner.

Admission

Eligibility

Holders of a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (sociology, psychology, anthropology, philosophy, history, etc.) or practitioners in education, social work, health or social medicine.

 

Application period for the 2021-2022 academic year : 

  • M1 REF: from May 15, 2021 to June 15, 2021.
  • M1 CIEF: from May 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021.
  • M1 IDASP: from April 27, 2021 to May 29, 2021.
  • M1 CCFC: from April 20, 2021 to May 20, 2021
