Master’s in Education (M1) : Research in Education and Training – Hybrid Format : In-person and remote devilevry (M1 RH)

Program Overview

The national Master’s in Education is granted to students having obtained 120 ECTS over four semesters after their undergraduate studies.

Two modes of teaching are available in the first year: in-person delivery and a hybrid format led by Sophie Gobert reserved for practitioners (see brochure available at the bottom of this page for more information on the hybrid format).

The hybrid format is only available in M1. There is currently no M2 in Education available with the hybrid format in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Université Paris Cité. However, blended learning is possible with other M2 specializations (see the faculty’s website).

Program Objectives

 Research Project and Publications

The research project in M1 prepares students to write their theses in M2. The proposal submitted during the application phase for M1 must include information on this research project as it relates to its application in M2.

The M1 requires dedicated involvement from students in writing their research project. Since there are few in-person class hours and many remote classes, students will be fully responsible for completing their work.

Students will also have to contact their supervising professor when they need assistance. They must therefore prepare their research project ahead of the application process and ensure that the research area chosen is in line with the specialty of the professors in the Department of Education (all professors can supervise projects in the hybrid format).
